Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]F-G2 is a radiolabeled peptide-based imaging agent designed for immunoPET, specifically targeting glypican-3 (GPC3), a cell-surface protein highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). [18F]F-G2 consists of a humanized heavy-chain variable domain antibody (VHH, or nanobody) fused to an albumin-binding domain and labeled with fluorine-18 ([18F]). This structural design extends its blood circulation time and improves tumor uptake and image contrast. It is used for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to clarify GPC3-positive tumors, with demonstrated efficacy for visualizing hepatocellular carcinoma lesions in preclinical models.
